Dwelling Place Christian Fellowship was founded in 2001 in Blacksburg, VA, serving the New River Valley, and through God’s grace has expanded with campuses in Smith Mountain Lake, VA and Big Stone Gap, VA.
The name Dwelling Place Christian Fellowship comes from:
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you are also being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2:19-22).
Why do we exist?
To receive God’s love and to give His love away.
And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ (Matthew 22:37-39).
We love, because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
To see God’s Kingdom be established in our community and beyond.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
