Why join a connect group?
At Dwelling Place, we believe the purpose for gathering together remains the same in both large group and small group environments: teaching, fellowship, signs/wonders, salvation, praise and growth. A healthy church body has both large and small group opportunities. What’s the difference between these types of gatherings?
Engagement.
In small groups, our desire is for each person to be engaged in a group and contribute. We believe each person has a gift for the body (1 Cor 12; 1 Peter 4). We believe we are to each be part of building up one another as the church (Ephesians 4; 1 Thessalonians 5). Small groups is a place to grow in your gift and participate in one another’s lives.
Some groups are in-person and some are online. Some groups are adults only, some include children, some have a limited demographic age group, some have a specific topical focus. Something for everyone - everyone encouraged to participate. If you have a question about a group please feel free to reach out to us.
